We visited the doctor a couple of times in the year 2019 for me and for my mother-in-law. We have had a wonderful experience with Dr. Nayak and his team. Our surgeries went well and the recovery process was fast.
In the first instance, I was diagnosed with Pleomorphic Adenoma 8 months after I became a mom. I was clueless about the nature of the tumor and whom to consult. My husband found Dr. Nayak’s profile on Practo and convinced me to visit him at MACS Clinic. Dr. Nayak was very patient, polite and answered all our queries in detail. He said that although my tumor was slow-growing and benign, there was always a chance (however small it may be) for it to turn malignant. He emphasized that ‘early detection leading to early treatment ensures a higher success rate of total recovery’.
Dr. Nayak’s staff at MACS helped us coordinate our stay at Fortis Hospital, where the surgery took place. The surgery went smoothly. Preserving the facial nerves was the most delicate and challenging part of this surgery. Since it was partly a robotic surgery, the recovery process was fast and I was back to my routine life within a few days. Post-surgery, the doctor and his team were very supportive and ensured that everything went well for me and that I was feeling better.
We visited Dr. Nayak for the second time for my mother-in-law who had a sizable and growing cyst on her thyroid gland. He suggested a total Thyroid Ectomy. He assured us that her body would function normally even without the thyroid gland by regularly taking a medication. Once again Dr. Nayak and his team performed a successful robotic surgery, which took several hours. Pre and post-surgery, the doctor has been very supportive. He has always given us very honest and clear answers to all our queries.
It’s been over 4 years since our surgeries were done; both of us are doing well presently.
I would like to earnestly thank Dr. Nayak and his team at Fortis and MACS Clinic for their constant support and would highly recommend Dr. Nayak to those who are looking for excellent treatment in India related to surgical oncology, thyroid gland and Parotid gland tumors/cysts.

Dr Sandeep Nayak explained the issue and treatment procedure in detail. His way of dealing and confidence put us at ease especially because my father who was detected with colon tumor is 85 years old.
Also, unlike most doctors , he avoided recommending unnecessary tests keeping my father’s age in mind. I will surely recommend this doctor .
I visited this doctor based on the recommendations on practo. My mother was diagnosed with ovarian cancer and had to undergo the 2nd operation which is omentectomy with lymph node dissection. We visited Dr Sandeep Nayak for a second opinion. But we decided to get the surgery done for my mother by him as we were totally impressed with the way he spoke and explained. Overall a great doctor with huge amount of patience. He answered all my queries with so much patience. On day 1 at his clinic, he sat with us for 1 full hour to explain us the problem. Helped me understand what the problem was and why the treatment/surgery was being given/had to be done for my mother. As per doctor's recommendation, my mother underwent surgery at ramakrishna hospital. He is a doctor who is really passionate about solving the problem rather than the one who is behind money. Even the follow up checkup , we were not charged. This shows that he is so genuine, compassionate and caring.
We need doctors like Dr. Sandeep Nayak.
Overall, hugely satisfied with the treatment given by Sandeep Sir and now my mother has completed the staging surgery and is now under observation.

We approached Dr Nayak to get a consult on the necessity of chemotherapy for my mother. She underwent a hemicolectomy due to an adenocarcinoma. The medical oncologist that we were asked to visit, didn't give a very firm indication about the necessity of chemo therapy and we had got conflicting opinions through the process. We wanted to clear the air. Since Dr Nayak is quite reputed, we approached him. Off the bat, he already warned us that he wouldn't take someone else's case. So, throughout the consult, there was a tone of dismissiveness. Very evidently, he couldn't wait to be done with us. But it's my mother's life. So, we probed. But again, there was no conclusive recommendation. We get that doctors don't like to step on someone else's shoes and will have to be objective. But even the objective opinion was neither here nor there. He wrote _Based on the reports at hand, there could be some benefits of chemotherapy_. *** **** ***** ** **** ********* *** ****** ****** *** ****** ******** ************** ** ***** *** ********. For someone who approached him hoping for clarity, we left his room more confused and lost. I'm Usha, an ordinary staff in his hospital (Fortis), last year November all of sudden I had developed a lump after stopping breastfeeding, initially thought it was milk duct. I waited 2 weeks thinking it will shrink on its own, but unfortunately it didnt..So i had to seek doc opinion. I showed a resident doc in the hospital and a gynecologist, who recommended USG. On doing USG recommended FNAC. FNAC result showed a kind of tumor. I just collapsed by hearing this. I didnt even know what to do in that situation. My colleague showed report Dr. Sandeep Sir's resident doc. He immediately showed that report to Dr. Sandeep Sir. in next 15 min, Doc called us to examine in OPD. After examining doc recommended PET CT and IHC. After doing all tests, it turned out to be malignant tumor (very difficult diagnosis, they took long process to diagnose it) rare disease. Hence, sir recommended surgery. He only performed surgery (mastectomy). He and Dr. Suresh Babu both advised chemotherapy, which I have completed now. Throughout this process, I saw a God in Dr. Sandeep sir's face and he is worth to compare. Really thank u God for putting me in such good doctor (equally to God). He saved me in all difficulties. No words to express about you sir.

Let me tell my experience. I met Dr a total of 3 times thus far. I did some research online, and saw his reviews, degrees, etc and was extremely impressed. (No one referred him to me.) So my wife and I decided to go to him for medical procedure.
1st time: I met him in MACS Clinic. Dr’s behavior was completely different than what we expected. For most of our medical questions, he responded with “I can’t tell…” For non-medical questions, he asked us to contact other sources without giving us any explanation. At the end of the day, he only answered a few of our questions. He had also taken my PET scan CD, and asked about the CT-Scan CD. Unfortunately, we didn’t have CT-Scan CD. Then, he told us to meet the following day at 4:45PM. When we left the clinic we were not 100% happy. My wife wanted to go to CT-Scan center, get the CD, and hand it over the same evening. Though I was not interested (as I was 90% sure I wouldn’t continue consulting him), I couldn’t say no to her. So, we went, collected it, and dropped at the front desk.
2nd time: To our surprise, our impression of Dr. totally flipped. He said “CT-Scan CD was very useful for him” and wrote an entire detailed plan. He also answered all our medical questions. He had very approachable and comfortable body language and seemed open to answering all our questions. He talked like a friendly colleague or neighbor. Then we realized that we had misunderstood his intentions during our previous consultation, and that his simple answers were because Dr. didn’t want to give us answers without completing his full analysis.
3rd time: The next day, we met him in bannergatta hospital. This time our respect has doubled comparative to 2nd meet. This time, he was wearing a surgical mask and outfit, and I was initially unable to even recognize him. But he luckily identified us and came to us. He tagged us with another doctor and asked him to explain the medical procedure. After that, he had taken us to his coordinator and asked her to answer all our non-medical questions. Really, I do not know how to explain how thoroughly helpful Dr. had been during this journey thus far.
My experience with him is AWESOME.
If I get a chance, definitely I would have given more than 5 for 5.
I will update this review after my entire procedure is done. Hope my experience helps you…

This Doctor was not cooperative & friendly at all.I went to meet him for the first time because my father was suffering from lung cancer.
He took it very lightly & just explained the issues superficiall when I was looking for his genuine advice. He was in hurry to look other patients & almost ignored my queries for the treatment options.

Dr. Sandeep Nayak is a very humble, calm, composed, smiling, gentle & a person who is willing to listen. He gives his complete attention to what the patient is talking and gives clear explanation to everything. He does not make you feel anxious or nervous about the whole issue. I'm extremely happy with the Dr. Sandeep Nayak. I feel I'm really blessed to find a doctor whom you can trust blindly and take least tension about the whole process.
I want to thank Dr. Sandeep and his entire team for being so professional, cooperative, accommodating and mainly having empathy towards patients which we do not see mostly these days.
